Lazy Hunting Continued

Went after the Euro Doves this afternoon. They are pretty fun to shoot. Especially when its in your backyard. We ended up with 14 between three shooters.

Youth Hunt 9/19/09

Went out on the youth hunt with Mitch, his little brother Alex, and a kid from my ward named Landon. They shot a ton and managed to bring in 8. There were ducks everywhere!

Grouse

Made it out grouse hunting for the first time this year. Walked quite a bit but only found the one. I let Mitch shoot it since he had never shot one before.

Lazy Dove Hunting

I've found the easiest dove hunting ever. It's in my backyard. We sit in lawn chairs and let the doves come right to us. We don't even leave the lawn. For the most part we shoot Eurasian Collared Doves but that is ok with me. To make it a little more sporting, we only shoot 20 gauge shotguns.

Dove Opening Day

Made it out for some doves on the opener. It was ton's of fun. We shot 16 between four of us. Mitch, Jordan, Todd, and I were all there.

This was the second day. Not quite as fast, but we fared pretty well. We killed 12 between the three of us.
