Finally, hunting of some sort is open again. Spent the morning chasing doves with Todd and Jordan Herzog. It was a little slow, only got a dozen. The sand burrs were horrible. The dog didn't stand a chance against them.
After that Todd and I went up to Beaver Creek to attempt to find some grouse. Chase flushed one pretty quick and Todd missed. The next one I was able to get a shot on and connected. It was way too hot though. The dog couldn't find enough shade. Can't wait to try again though.
